Hospice or Palliative Care Acupuncture treatment focuses on comfort care.  That means that rather than trying to cure a condition, we focus on making the patient as comfortable as possible physically, mentally, and spiritually.

The areas we focus on are:

boosting energy,

reducing pain, especially in the hopes of allowing the patient's physician to reduce pain medications, if desired

calming anxiety, 

uplifting a depressed spirit,

reducing nausea, constipation, and other side effects of medications,

helping the patient come to terms with end of life and letting go if they are having difficulty
